The drone of the future inspired by the helicopter

D-Dalus Drone concept is a futuristic air vehicle intended to provide keen insight aircraft of tomorrow. Unveiled for the first time during the Paris Air Show in 2011, the project has since matured to achieve a more sophisticated flying machine.
Combining the benefits of a helicopter and an airplane, the drone has the ability to remain stable in the air, in addition to rotation about three axes at 360 °. The result, he can fly and rotate in any direction and, keeping his balance. Conceived and designed by designer Julian Pröll home Form quadrant the aircraft is based on a specific propulsion system. The latter consists of four-against rotating disks operating at the same speed. The assembly is then driven by a conventional aircraft engine. Each disc being surrounded by blades, it is possible to change the angle of attack by moving a point inside the main axis. Which then allows the aircraft to fly as it sees fit, perform a stationary or take off and land vertically flight, no matter the track.
D-Dalus Drone is the time in prototype phase but it could become reality in the near future.
