Samsung has announced a new smartphone in oversize. The Grand Galaxy 2 has a size of 5.25 inches and therefore one of the smaller phablets. The phablet is with a size of 14.7 x 7.5 x 0.9 cm slightly smaller than the Samsung Galaxy Mega and slightly larger than the Samsung Galaxy S4 (4.99 inches, 12.7 inches display size).

The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 works a quad-core processor with 1.2 Ghz. The device offers 1.5 GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory andMicroSD card can expand the memory to 64 GB. On the back of the smartphone has a 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash integrated, added a 1.9 megapixel front camera. The device is a dual SIM smartphone . The operating system Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is installed.
The phablet is the successor of the middle class smartphones, Galaxy Grand. Whether a market launch in Germany, Austria and Switzerland is imminent, is not yet known.
