Google bought the startup behind the popular application for exchanging data between two smartphones by tapping one against the other , have announced the two companies.
"We could not be more excited to join Google," announced David Lieb, co-founder and owner of Bump Technologies David Lieb in a message on the website of the application .
"The team at Bump demonstrated a strong ability to quickly build and develop products that appeal to users, and we think they will go very well with Google," said in turn the Internet giant.
Bump Technologies founded in 2008 is based in the same city in Silicon Valley that Google, Mountain View. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but the AllthingsD.com website sales operation between 30 and 60 million .
