Grown Tablet market globally

According to the latest data from market research firm IDC, the worldwide tablet market grew by around four per cent to 50.4 million tablets in the first quarter of 2014 and is in lower growth than previously. One of the main reasons are smartphones with larger touchscreens and the second reason are tablet users keep their current tablet longer instead of purchasing a new model. The U.S. technology company Apple, with a market share of 32.5 percent, and its iPad tablet is still the leading providers among tablet manufacturers.

In the second place Samsung landed with a rise of 4.8 per cent market share. His position in the market would expand by an attractive pricing policy, smartphone packages and a stronger cooperation with mobile operators on the South Korean company. On the tablet market Windows tablets occupy a subordinate role and increase their market share slowly. In the tablet operating systems Google Android is the leader, as it is located on 66 percent of mobile devices.
