Apple may build new UFO Headquarters

The U.S. technology company Apple has now received by the City Council of the California city of Cupertino approval for the construction of its new headquarters campus 2 However, the city council at the same time lowered the tax benefits of Apple and that to 35 percent. The company would then receive a tax refund of 4.4 million U.S. dollars for 2012 and Cupertino get an increase of 1.8 million U.S. dollar amount as the previous agreement. In 2011, Apple founder Steve Jobs had a short time before his sudden death presented the plans for the new circular headquarters of the city government. The building consists of a glass facade, has four floors and can accommodate 14,000 people. The Campus 2 was designed by renowned British architect Norman Foster and is reminiscent of the circular space ships from the hit science fiction series Stargate Atlantis.

The headquarters will be according to the plans open in mid-2016 and in the run Apple had acquired the former group's premises by the PC manufacturer Hewlett-Packard. The existing complex of buildings fell for Apple now too small and is the main reason for the construction of corporate headquarters.
